The ALEF Fund provide scholarships to Pre-K, kindergarten, primary or secondary public school students who wish to attend participating Jewish private schools. It is the only organization in Georgia that provides student scholarships exclusively to Jewish preschools, day schools and high schools.

You can give the gift of a Jewish education to students at B'nai Torah's Preschool, at no net cost to you, through the ALEF Fund. Georgia law allows you to redirect your state tax dollars to support scholarships for accredited private schools, including Jewish schools, and specifically Congregation B'nai Torah Preschool. A married couple can designate up to $2500 in this way. Certain business owners and members of partnerships can designate $10,000! Since it's a state credit, not a deduction, it's money you would have sent to the state anyway, and you still get the Federal deduction - in some tax situations, you may even save on your taxes!

As always, there's a catch ... there are not nearly enough credits available for everyone who wants to participate. To ensure that your designation is recognized for 2022, please submit your application before the end of 2021.
