About Rhonda
Rhonda Perling, MSW is a social worker with expertise in the areas of discharge planning, utilization review, and complex cases. She has over 30 years of extensive experience representing hospital systems and advocating for patients and families. She has spoken at NASW, CMSA and BIAA conferences in Georgia and around the country on disability and discharge planning. She is passionate about finding positive resolutions to complex cases and specializes in neurosurgery and neurology discharge planning. She loves being a resource to others and thrives when networking and connecting others within the medical community. Rhonda is proud to have graduated from both UGA and Tulane with BSW and MSW degrees. Rhonda has initiated fast track programs with SSA and DME closets with FODAC at several hospital systems in Atlanta and around Georgia. Rhonda also precepts for the University of Georgia School of Social Work. Rhonda is married to Lewis for 29 amazing years with 2 fabulous kids: Isabelle (Izzy) is a PharmDawg (graduate of UGA Pharmacy School) and in residency in Birmingham and Snake (Josh) is graduated from KSU and is completing his Master’s in Admin and Policy in Education at UGA in August.
