COVID-19 Programming Updates

In an effort to limit our community members' exposure to COVID-19, we are postponing all B'nai Torah events. We hope to reschedule as many of the events as possible in the near future.

    B'nai Torah Knitzvah Group meets weekly on Sundays at 1:00 PM, Tuesdays at 10:00 AM and Thursdays at 7:00 PM. Knitters of all skill levels and ages are invited to participate in any and all knitting sessions throughout each month! Choose the day(s) that works best for you! Please check the calendar for any date changes.
    Beginning in January 2020, the Boomers will meet on the 3rd Tuesday of each month from 10:30 AM - 12:00 PM to hear from exciting speakers on many different topics! Each session will be $5 per person. Snacks will be provided! 
    • Originally scheduled for Tuesday, March 17, 2020 at 10:30 AM - Brain Health Lottery
      Debbi Dooley, RN, MS, LPC, Aviv Older Adult Services of JF&CS, will lead a discussion called "Helping You Beat the Odds in the Brain Health Lottery." Experts tell us that some of our brain health has to do with genetics, but depending on who you listen to, about 30% of our brain health is up to us and what we're willing to do to improve our odds (healthful behaviors and habits). If I could help you improve your odds on beating the lottery by 30%, you'd buy a ticket, right? 
    • Originally scheduled for Tuesday, April 21, 2020 at 10:30 AM- Music and Movement
      Ling Olaes, LPC, Art and Yoga Therapist, and Certified Group Fitness Instructor from JF&CS will lead "Music and Movement." Have fun dancing in an upbeat chair exercise class set to sing-along songs. All levels are welcome! Wear comfortable clothes you can move in and bring a water bottle.

  • "NO PORK ON THE FORK" MOVIE SCREENING AND BBQ DINNER - Originally scheduled for Sunday, March 22 at 6:30 PM
    "No Pork on the Fork" is a mouthwatering, often humorous behind-the-scenes look at the Atlanta Kosher BBQ Festival that connects people from various walks of life through great food and friendly competition. This film was featured at the 2020 Atlanta Jewish Film Festival, and tickets sold out immediately. If you missed it, here's your second chance to see this wonderful short film followed by a Q&A with Atlanta Kosher BBQ Festival Executive Director, Jody Pollack, and Film Directors, Adam Hirsch and Jacob Ross, while enjoying a delicious BBQ dinner catered by Keith's Corner BBQ. Prices are $27 per person age 40 and over or $50 per couple. Young Adults (under 40) are $20 each. 
  • SISTERHOOD WOMEN'S SEDER - Originally scheduled for Wednesday, April 1, 2020 at 7:00 PM
    An exploration of the true meaning of the Feast of Freedom, by women and for women. Seder includes appetizers, dinner, dessert, and wine. Price is $24 per person over 21 and free for women age 12-21. We are thrilled to announce that this meaningful Seder will be led by Kelly Cohen from 
  • BROTHERHOOD MEN'S SEDER - Originally scheduled for Thursday, April 2, 2020 at 6:00 PM
    Join your fellow brothers for a fabulous steak dinner and premium cocktails in celebration of Passover (vegetarian option will be available). Raffle tickets for great prizes will be available for purchase! 
  • BOOMER BINGO - Originally scheduled for Sunday, April 19, 2020
    Join your fellow Boomers for snacks, desserts, wine and Bingo prizes! Cost is $5 per person. 
  • TORY BURCH SPRING SHOW BENEFIT NIGHT - Originally scheduled for Wednesday, April 22 from 5:00-8:00 PM at Phipps Plaza
