    B'nai Torah Knitzvah Group meets weekly on Sundays at 1:00 PM, Tuesdays at 10:00 AM and Thursdays at 7:00 PM. Knitters of all skill levels and ages are invited to participate in any and all knitting sessions throughout each month! Choose the day(s) that works best for you! Please check the calendar for any date changes.
    Beginning in January 2020, the Boomers will meet on the 3rd Tuesday of each month from 10:30 AM - 12:00 PM to hear from exciting speakers on many different topics! Each session will be $5 per person. Snacks will be provided!

      Rabbi Judith Beiner, JF&CS Community Chaplain, will be discussing "Spirituality and Aging." Can a well-rounded spiritual life enhance your later years? The answer is YES. Rabbi Judith Beiner will introduce various spiritual tools and practices to explore as we age including Life Review, Forgiveness and Reconciliation, Winnowing, Leaving a Legacy, Cultivating Joy, Patience, Equanimity and Gratitude and much more!

      Metro Atlanta Community Mikvah (MACoM) invites guests to explore the ancient Jewish ritual of the mikvah and how it’s found a new beginning in modern times. Join us to learn about the MACoM mikvah and take a tour!
    • Tuesday, March 17, 2020 at 10:30 AM - Brain Health Lottery
      Debbi Dooley, RN, MS, LPC, Aviv Older Adult Services of JF&CS, will lead a discussion called "Helping You Beat the Odds in the Brain Health Lottery." Experts tell us that some of our brain health has to do with genetics, but depending on who you listen to, about 30% of our brain health is up to us and what we're willing to do to improve our odds (healthful behaviors and habits). If I could help you improve your odds on beating the lottery by 30%, you'd buy a ticket, right? 
    • Tuesday, April 21, 2020 at 10:30 AM- Music and Movement
      Ling Olaes, LPC, Art and Yoga Therapist, and Certified Group Fitness Instructor from JF&CS will lead "Music and Movement." Have fun dancing in an upbeat chair exercise class set to sing-along songs. All levels are welcome! Wear comfortable clothes you can move in and bring a water bottle.


  • SHABBAT IN HARMONY WITH KOL ZIMRA - Friday, January 24 - Sunday, January 26, 2020
    Kol Zimra is a group of 6 professional a capella singers who will bring their love of Judaism, spirituality and prayer to B'nai Torah. Friday night and Shabbat morning, they will lead spiritually meaningful services and stay to lead the congregation in song, teaching us new melodies and bringing life to old ones. Saturday night, we will host a community-wide performance including those with special abilities from across the community. Save the date for Friday evening's Shabbat dinner sponsored by Sisterhood.   • SUPERBOWL SHABBAT - Friday, January 31, 2020 at 6:30 PM
    Come dressed in your favorite sports paraphernalia and join us for Superbowl Shabbat! Shabbat services begin at 6:30 PM with a delicious tailgate themed dinner immediately following. Sports fans of all ages are welcome! The price is $18 per adult, and FREE for children age 18 years and under! Click here to register!
  • WORLD WIDE WRAP - Sunday, February 2 ta 9:00 AM
    Join us to learn about tefillin, participate in minyan and enjoy breakfast! This program is open to all ages and genders. Learn about the origins of the commandment and get a rare glimpse of what is inside the tefillin boxes from 9:00-9:45 AM. After the discussion, we will begin morning minyan at 9:45 AM, and we will conclude the morning with a delicious breakfast!

  • BLOOD DRIVE - Sunday, February 23, 2020 from 8:30 AM - 1:00 PM at B'nai Torah
    Give local. Save local. Sign up for our B'nai Torah Blood Drive and save 3 lives! All donors will receive a recognition item and a free cholesterol screening. Donors must be 16 or older, weigh at least 110 pounds and show photo ID. 16-year-olds require written parental permission.
