It's on purpose that the first word in our name is "congregation." We are Congregation B'nai Torah.

As individuals, we strive to learn, teach, celebrate and support through Conservative Judaism. As a congregation, we are a vibrant center for Jewish life in Sandy Springs dedicated to traditional, inclusive Tefillah (prayer), acts of loving kindness, Jewish learning, volunteer service, support of Israel and tzedakah (charity).

Just like a mosaic assembled from individual tiles of textures and colors creating a larger image, our congregation is composed of an exciting variety of backgrounds, nationalities, ages, hometowns and Jewish heritage. Ours is a fabric woven stronger and more vibrant from the shared abilities and experiences of our members. Our congregants are dedicated to being an integral part of this mosaic.

What brings us together is that we view ourselves as a congregation. Just as with a family, team or group, Congregation B'nai Torah is an extension of the involvement of our congregants. There are opportunities to attend religious services and support our two daily minyans. The Preschool and Religious School nurtures our children in Jewish learning. We take pride in offering involvement in Sisterhood, Brotherhood, Youth, and Young Adults. Our congregants participate in classes, programs, prayer and lend their time to social action, congregational support and volunteer activities. Members make B'nai Torah what it is- a welcoming, caring congregation of life-long learners.

If you are thinking about visiting, scan this website or call the office at 404-257-0537 and explore our activities for the next few weeks. Considering becoming a member? We want to get to know you. If board members, the Rabbi, staff or volunteers don't greet you first, please introduce yourself. There is a path of personal Jewish growth and involvement for everyone. We want new members to find their starting place in the congregation and we want to know your interests. Our established members can provide guidance, ideas, advice and leadership.

Belonging is just the beginning. Our congregants don't view membership as having its privileges. We take on the responsibility of being partners in worship, involvement, learning, service, building, welcoming, celebrating and supporting.

Be a part of the mosaic, the fabric and the experience we call Congregation B'nai Torah.
