A unique place.

A special group of individuals.

A thriving, multigenerational membership.

Congregation B'nai Torah.

At CBT, we revel in our own brand of Conservative Judaism. Founded on principles of traditional Judaism, we have retained the richness of "full" worship services while making ritual practices increasingly available to women. This combination, together with an energized, informed and caring membership and an incredibly talented and dedicated Rabbi, Joshua Heller, has fostered our growth and myriad successes. We now welcome our new Associate Rabbi, Eytan Kenter, who will ensure that we maintain a high level of personal rabbinic attention to our growing, diverse membership.

What brings us together is that we not only view ourselves as a congregation, we act toward one another as family. The nachas we feel at the simchas celebrated by members is genuine. The pain and sadness we experience at the loss or serious illness of a member or their loved ones is real. Congregation B'nai Torah is an extension of involved and engaged congregants. There are opportunities to attend religious services and support our two daily minyans. The Preschool and Religious School nurture our children in Jewish learning. We take pride in offering involvement in Sisterhood, Brotherhood, Youth, and Young Adults. Our adult group, 40 North, provides many opportunities for adult Jewish education, spiritual growth and social gatherings to members who are 40 and older. Our congregants participate in classes, programs, and prayer and lend their time to social action, congregational support and volunteer activities. Members make B'nai Torah what it is- a welcoming, caring congregation of life-long learners.

Considering becoming a member? We want to get to know you. If you are thinking about visiting, scan this website or call the office at 404-257-0537. Or, just drop by. If board members, the Rabbi, staff or volunteers do not greet you first, please introduce yourself.

There is a path of personal Jewish growth and involvement for everyone. Perhaps ours fits you.
