THE 45th ANNUAL COMMUNITY-WIDE REMEMBRANCE DAY at GREENWOOD CEMETERY- Commemoration of Yom HaShoah, Memorial to the Six Million. Rain or shine.

The MJCCA and the ARA will remember the victims of the Holocaust with a Yom HaShoah program entitled Ani Ma’amin at the MJCCA’s Besser Holocaust Memorial Garden. Music, prayers, and the lighting of the six torches to represent the six million.

$25 donation is requested. Prizes for Top 3 Finishers. Earn a bounty prize for knocking players out! This is the first tournament to earn points for the 2009-10 Final Table. Start time is promptly 7:30 PM (please arrive early to get your chips and a seat). Location is CBT. There will also be a free secondary tournament -- prize for the winner. BRING A FRIEND! Save the Date for Thursday, April 29! Our wonderful committee is meeting at 6:30 in the library for a very important meeting. You'll meet our new Social Action Chair, Adina Neufeld -- a gifted writer, p.r. pro and, in general, a woman who gets things done. Plus, you'll help us determine our game plan for the coming year. We'll want to hear about your dream events and programs and, of course, which ones you can help lead or pioneer or support. And, last but not least, we'll feed you. Rabbi Heller has generously sponsored our dinner with kosher pizza!!!
